So there’s a new chatbot out there that are trying to break out into the public with the rest of the competition. When it comes to handling numerous social media posts, replies, as well as message users who comment on your posts to thank them and share wonderful messages.

ChatMatic does offer a Free option, monthly billing option, and you can save a whole twenty percent right now by choosing annual billing (paying the entire years’ worth of your monthly fee package). The downside? Compared to many other chatbots out there, it’s pretty expensive.
For the Free Single License, you get up to 250 subscribers, and you can get unlimited messages, unlimited campaigns, full feature access, built-in chat support, and add branding to your chatbot. That’s pretty sweet, but other chatbots out there can support up to unlimited subscribers in their free account.
Such is the case with chatbots like ManyChat, so it’s a little hard to figure out if it’s actually worth it on the Free avenue.
The Single License Pro package offers you unlimited subscribers, unlimited messages, campaigns, full feature access, built-in chat support, and wait. You don’t get any branding with it? For $77 you should at least get the same features as you do with the free version, right?
And that’s just for one page if you choose to pay all 12 months ahead of time.
If you choose the monthly billing option, there’s not even an option for the next higher grade package, and you end up paying nearly $100 dollars for it. Therefore, while it does have its perks, it’s definitely an option that many people may not want to go for unless they’re really just looking for an enhanced version of Facebook’s already integrated features.
But there’s more!
Unlimited Licenses offers you to utilize an unlimited amount of pages and chatbots. You can literally have an unlimited page management, subscribers, messages, campaigns for each one, full feature access, the same support, access to templates, and priority support.
So what’s the downside, because this seems to be their best package yet?
Well, we’ll gladly tell you. It costs nearly $1500. For such an expensive price, you would think that you would get more than that. More on that below.
What You Don’t Get
Well, as we mentioned above, you do get a lot of pretty cool features by using ChatMatic if you don’t mind paying the price for it. While you get things like user’s information and automatic subscription with “secret opt-ins”, you don’t actually get everything that you would get with a chatbot like ManyChat.
No automated flows. No automatic growth tools. There also isn’t a lot of customization, and as we mentioned earlier, you’re strictly limited to subscribers unless you pay up to a hundred dollars a month for the service.
There is also no e-mail or SMS marketing integrated into it, so you can’t send automated newsletters each month using the app with it. It doesn’t grow based on your subscriber count either.
Why it Doesn’t Add Up
Another reason aside from the price is that while it’s somewhat of a newer chatbot platform than other options if you search for anything about it on e-mails, you mainly get articles written by the creator of ChatMatic itself.
That’s great that he knows how to utilize SEO to his advantage, however, for the price you’re going to pay, Mr. Travis Stephenson is just going to get that money in his pocket. His website is hosted at 1and1.com. However, this isn’t the first thing that Mr. Stephenson has created as well.
Now he’s in another well-known marketing scheme that promises to help you quickly and instantly get $2K a Day.
That being said, the website itself has no votes on whether or not it is flagged as a scam because ChatMatic is a “new product” using basic ideas and concepts that are pretty much already configurable in Facebook Messenger and other Chatbots.
Do We Recommend Another Chatbot?
Personally, ManyChat is one of the most dominant chatbots on the market out there as well as Chatfuel coming in a close second as the most popular bots that people are using. With these two bots, you have more functionality and abilities to do more with every single market.
Not only that, but you can literally have more targeting features, automatic responses, and build a complete bot that not only automatically responds to people, but is fully customizable so you can answer any question, integrate advertisements and product placement drops, as well as offer complete technical support.
With ManyChat, there are many people who have made it a full-featured virtual assistant, acting as multiple virtual “departments” for their company all at one time. From FAQ questionnaires all the way to technical support, integrating into things like Zapier, e-mail marketing campaigns, Facebook Ads, and more, ManyChat can literally become a whole company in itself (or at least the prime representative if need be).
Something that you also get with ManyChat is that if someone actually wants to speak with you directly, ManyChat can be triggered to contact you so you can actually use the Live Chat tool on your dashboard and really talk to people.
This is important because while it’s great that you can make people feel like they’re talking to a chatbot build just for their situation, everyone likes human to human interaction once in a while.

Not only that, I personally disagree with the way Travis Stephenson’s course handles things along with being over priced. There is value, however, saying that you would be successful after you go through this course would be a far stretch from the truth & after all, the truth is the best medicine in learning messenger marketing.
