Facebook Comment Growth Tool 2.0 Guide
ManyChat has had a growth tool For Facebook comments before and still does but it’s about to be removed because of its new update Facebook comments grow tool 2.0 which acts just like the old grow tool but has many more advanced features that will help your marketing.
At first, I didn’t use it because I thought it was just like the rest of the features of the old comment growth tool, however, after a quick sample of using the new growth tool I found that it was very effective With the use of a Facebook ad.
Now you could have a standard Facebook ad and incorporate your chatbot to answer any comments that get left on that specific ad. which greatly helps engagement and build your audience inside of your ManyChat or Messenger marketing bot.
It’s almost like they knew it the weakness was of the whole industry and then they enabled this one feature to allow you to gain a better audience an increased engagement for your brand or business.
I know just from using it for a two-week time period. It greatly increased My Facebook ads manager ROAS which if you do not know that is return on ad spend. And of course, if you put money into an advertising platform you would want to get the money out right?
Of course, you would.
With that said the more money you put in the better your engagement is by using a chatbot with a Facebook ad then you just increase the possibility of getting a sale or a lead. it’s almost like getting double the features for the same amount of money that she would have normally spent on a Facebook ad.
And I don’t know about you but I’m not the type of person to just write a check to Mark Zuckerberg.
The money I put into my Facebook ads needs to produce a solid return so that I can sustain a business and support my family and I’m sure a lot of you are just like that. With this new Facebook comment growth tool 2.0, you could quickly put this to work right now and start making a better return on your investment as long as you use the ManyChat platform.
Now we’ve talked about how you could benefit from using this new growth tool by ManyChat so now let’s actually talk about how to use this so that you can start.
It’s really simple to use and much like a lot of their other growth tools however, there is a couple of small details you need to know an about the new features as well let’s go ahead and talk about them.
After all, you want to get the best out of this right?
Sure, you do so let’s go ahead and get started.
Using the Growth Tool in ManyChat
First, you want to navigate to the growth tool section, then click on New growth tool and select Facebook comments 2.0, this will bring up the ability to make the growth tool.
At this point, you have the options to select a post also name the growth tool and turn off or on first level tracking of comments. this of course is the major features right here of the front side of this Facebook comments 2.0 although, this gives you the ability to add keywords to exclude as well as keywords that will only trigger this growth tool if said in the comment.
Note: if you leave the keywords blank it will trigger anytime someone leaves a comment no matter what word they comment with so in other words, if you want your bot to respond on every comment then leave the keywords blank.
Also, another important thing to note is first level tracking of comments, I recommend turning this on so that you don’t send the message twice if the person comments more than once.
Now that we’ve talked about that let’s select a post because this is where it gets even more interesting.
At this point, you have the ability to select from a published post from your page, scheduled post from your page, or my favorite promotable post from your page which would be your Facebook ads.
This is not to exclude the custom feature that you can select as well which gives you the ability to add the URL from The Facebook post that she would like to use whether it is a post or a Facebook ad.
This can be used if you do not see your ad in the promotable post section You can go to custom and then insert the URL are the post ID inside of that then it will pull that up for use.
In the example that we’re going to show we’re going to select one of our Facebook ads that we currently have running and we’re going to pull this up and just merely select the post as shown below.
After you have your post selected then you want to press the next button Which will take you over to a point where you can select the opt inflow that you are going to use. This does have a default flow but I highly recommend making a custom flow instead of using the standard default flow.
In order to get to this spot where you change the flow you are will be using click the next button Then when you do it will go to the next section which is the opt in actions section Which will allow you to select or replace a flow.
This is what I recommend you do instead of editing the flow that’s there it’s best that you already have a pre built flow that you can just replace with. when you press the replace button you can then select whichever flow you want to use when somebody comments on your post.
I will note that there is one feature inside of the flow that you pick that needs to be there or it will not trigger to be used when somebody comments.
In the example that will be showing we already have 4 Facebook comment growth tools being used in this flow so Please note that you can use as many as you want to trigger this flow if it is common To the theme of your business.
Meaning, I have 4 ads running right now and they all lead back to one instance that is common to all four ads so the reply would equal the same thing I would say if somebody were to comment on that particular ad.
Now the one thing that is important that you need to do for the very first message block inside of this flow or any flow that you use with a Facebook comments 2.0, you need Make sure you use a content type of comment reply.
As shown below.
As you can see it’s really simple to use just make sure on the very first message after the starting step that you use a content type of comment reply which is just using the dropdown and selecting the very bottom option Below the OT ends or any other content type.
Another key thing to note when building this flow for use with a Facebook comment 2.0 grow tool Is that you need to ask a question or get the person to engage with your bot. just like in the example I just showed I ask a question and they give three options for the person to answer.
As soon as they push one of those options they are now a subscriber however if they do not push a button then they are not a subscriber inside of your chatbot. so In other words, using the Facebook comment 2.0 growth tool does not prompt a get started message.
It is required that you ask a question or get the person to engage by typing or by pushing a button so they become a subscriber.
This is very beneficial because of the simple fact of you do not have to have the get started button anymore when getting somebody inside of your chatbot or interacting with him so this increases engagement quite a bit.
Using this type of conversation or interaction with users directly from a Facebook ad I would keep short and sweet and to the point so that you get the very best from your chatbot or your Messenger bot use.
Really the key is being user friendly in what you’re doing and offers them something directly from or related to the Facebook ad that they commented on to begin with.
As you see my flow is really simple to the point an address is exactly what it needs to be addressed.
Once your flow is made and you have it the way you would like it then I recommend testing it besides that then you can Go back to the grow tool replace the default flow with the one you just built.
This will then add the Facebook comments growth tool 2.0 to the starting step of that flow.
At this point, all you have to do is click save and activate and you’re all ready to go so as soon as you start getting comments on your Facebook ad or your post then this will trigger the flow to be sent to the user that commented.
It is best at this point that you test it yourself or get a friend to test it so that you get real live data end also note that if you test it by yourself with no extra support or help that it might not work because Facebook knows that you are the owner of this chat bot.
You can delete yourself from the Messenger bot audience and then try to comment to verify that it works at that point.
However, it is best to see if you can get a friend or someone else to test it for you to get actual live data so that you know that everything is working properly.
I hope that this helped you and if by chance you still need help please watch the video below that shows you the complete setup on how to do this.
